Aww... summer reading... I forgot about that... at least i only have to read one book this year... *phew* but that's probably because my teacher has a list of 15 books he wants us to read during the school year.

Anyways... my plan! Its very simple, actually. I don't know when i'm going to have dance and everything, exactly, but that doesn't matter. My parents force me to go to bed at 10: 30. Well, simply, i do so. Then, around 11: 30, after my mom goes to bed, I get up and post away!!! ^-^

... i'm gonna pass out from lack of sleep once school starts, aren't i? XD

I have to read two books and do a ton of stupid things with them. So far, I have one book/project done, so now I need to do the more retarded of the two. suicide

that really sucks. We don't have to do any projects on our books until we get back to school.

Freshman year i had to read two books... or was it three??? i can't remember. I only like one of 'em.

Sophomore year: 1 (because i decided to take regular english instead of honors. Main reason as to why: I hated the teacher who taught Honors English 10... she ended up taking on the role of Speech coach... But she was nice when she was playing that role, at lease *phew*)

Junior Year: 1 book (lucked out. But it's by the same author of the book we had to read for my sophomore summer reading... that book was so~~ retarded...)

I wish teacher would let us read good summer reading books.

I wish we could read anything we wanted that was related to "World Literature" (our "English" course this year). Then I could read Memoirs of a Geisha (which I've read once already) and do that one. XP

that would be awesome!!! Yeah, our english courses don't even have a theme. It's either English ___, Honors English __, or, if you're a junior or senior, AP English __. More or less the same thing every year.

I just like Honors English 11 the best. Because when you shorten it looks like hell. (HE11)

Well, it's AP Language and Literature for us, but the regular class is "World Literature" and so that has to be included in the honors edition. XP

ah, variety. I wish our school had it. (I swear... The caucasian count of our school is three times as big as all of the other ethnicities... it's saddening...) And the only real variety in our school is in the "World Language", no longer considered foreign language, department.

We have two or three spanish teachers, a french, a german, a latin, and starting this year a chinese.

Ah, but "World Literature" pretty much refers to stories about Communist China, South America, Mexica, or Cuba. No Japan, no China before or after Communists, no European, no India...

...that sucks... I learn enough about all of that in history (which was not required for me to take this year, thank GOD!!!)

History is okay, sometimes, don't get me wrong, cause it can be interesting... i just hate trying to remember dates, document names and what they did exactly, and sometimes names. (this one unit we learned about 8 different presidents... i couldn't remember which was which!)

I'm interested in certain parts of history, and others I don't care at all about. I like Victorian England, for example. I also like Meiji era Japan. I like Samurai and Shogun periods.

If I could learn about those only, awesome. Problem is, we have to learn about Louis the whatever too. XP

i don't remember the last time i learned about something fun. I just took American History, so it was all about presidents, and once President Reagan (last unit) came up my teacher was as happy as can be... it was scary...

But it was fun to correct him on the pronunciation of one of the Japanese words during the WWII unit. Ah, good day...

If you read a lot, you could probably write a half-decent fic. Writing just takes practice. You should see my first couple fics. They sucked! Laughing

The only reason the ones I write now are good is because A) I'm a little older now than when I started and B) I've gotten a lot of practice.

I know i'm good at writing (when i actually try) cause, somehow... my essays and short stories end up being over the minimum... and if there's no max... let's just say a simple 3 page essay turns into 11... hehehe... and i get extra credit for 'em.

I like extra credit. XD

haha, i remember when hanyou and i made a huge cross over fan fic. We only put up one chapter (the worst one, if you ask me... it was the first, so, yeah). But it was hilarious. Somehow, though, we lost the notebook, with our fifth chapter, and stopped writing it.

Ah, good times...

Yeah. I've talked to my parents about taking up a dance class and they always say "Oh, I'll think about it." Four years later... I've resorted to my school's dance team... *sigh*

and they can't do any of the moves either. And now we've added a dance team for the football games and they dance in front of the band during our stand down song. Ruin the whole show. ~.~

Band's better, so i stuck with the basketball dance line... team... thing... So i don't downgrade the band. XD
