thanks! and i guess i don't mind the OGT thing completely..........no homework...unless you have Becker for geometry that is........>.<

i would go post more RP posts...but i'm officially brain dead & i'll do more in the morning......hell, i've been brain dead for over an hour now, really.

but i did in fact go over my auntie erin & semi-uncle's bill's house today, and i did have a kind-of party.
holy f*cking god! they gave me a 100 dollor bill! i was like, "holy sh*t!!!" i didn't really say it, but i sure as hell was thinking it!
my gramma gave me a check for $25, so that was nice.
my dad got me speakers for my laptop, but i'm too tired to hook them up tonight. my mom got me a cool looking Highland hoodie, and they both got me a 4GB SD card!!! 4GB!!!!
what really put me in awe was my ring.

Quick story behind it though:
Years ago, before I was thought of, my Auntie Erin bought this cool looking chief indian ring, and my Grampa McC really liked it! So what he did was buy one for him, my Gramma, my dad & my Uncle Mike. And well, it sort of became a family tradition.
When someone came into the family through marriage, they would get one of those rings. Bill's an exception of course. Him and my aunt have been together for like......11 or 12 years now. He basically is my uncle, but I feel weird calling him "Uncle Bill" 'cause he's not...
Anyway, as for the grandkids, we were all to get our rings when we turned 16 (except my cousin Michael, my Uncle Mike gave his to him when our Grampa died. He only had a few months left anyway)
And I got mine today!!! (well...yesterday now, but still!)
When my Grampa died, I was like, "Who's gonna give me my ring?" (selfish...I know...but I've been wanting this thing for years!!!) Anyway, turns out he bought all our rings years ago.
My Gramma brought it wrapped in this green tissue paper and tied together with this really cool gold & silver ribbon (It's special too ; it belonged to my Grampa). And she gave it to my dad to give to me.
So that was like a total "awe" moment for me.

Stupid to care so much for a ring, I know, but it's just....I don't even know how to describe it. I felt great, and my Gramma said I was an official adult--in our family that is--now that I had that ring. I nearly started crying while I was walking back to the van to put the ribbon away...^_^;;;;;;

Anyway, I tried to get a picture of it, but that thing has so many glares it just wouldn't come out right. >.<
