Shim!

*sigh*
Okay...good news...bad news...
Bad news first...since this would occur first...

Before I even started explaining things to my mom, she said that her & my dad were discussing me driving up there, and now it's a total complete "No"--unless I'm following them in complete full-view with a friend. This would be Thursday evening.
But of course...Shim doesn't get out of school until Friday around 3PM-ish I'll say.
I explained to my parents two options (she barely let me finish the second one):
1) We drive up there seperately Thursday, then I drive back down Friday afternoon for Shim.
2) Three people drive up there Thursday, while myself and one of my parents stay back and take Shim up Friday afternoon.
My parents shot them down faster than a blink of an eye...

Good news...
As I thought, my parents could care less if I stayed with you, Amanda, & whoever else you're staying with.
They just don't like the driving thing...

So unless we can take Shim Thursday night or she gets up there another way...looks like she's not going... Meaning I'll have to buy Shim an extremely awesome thing as a "OMG I'M SO SORRY I GOT YOUR HOPES UP PLEASE FORGIVE ME" gift. Which I wouldn't mind at all (I have fun shopping for friends at cons).

*sigh*
I feel bad now....really, terribly bad.....

...the only thing i find rawr about is the fact if shim can't go we have to either A) find another roomy or B) split the bill 3 ways instead of 4

i'm not sure if he'd go for it, on account that he spends a LOT of money at cons, meaning he's trying to restrict himself from cons some...but i could try and ask--see what he says.

but hey i called my other roomie and got some good news
1) it is infact 3 people with her little group (she told me at one point it was three but she started to make it sound like that the 3rd dropped out)
2) all 3 will stay both nightsa with us

so that means even without shim it will be 6 people in the room both nights so it will be at maximum $55 for both nights

however that doesn't mean we can't hav more peope
more people=less money

...serously though....we're gonna have to buy shim something AWESOME! but what....

i'll still see if badger wants to come along--if you want.
and i'm still gonna pay for amanda the second night right? (no, i still don't mind)

well if i can't get a ride out to kalahari until after 3:00pm then i'll see if i can just pick up shim myself so let's not count er out yet

yeah see if he can come but it won't be detrimental if he doesn't come

okay! still......i would like to get her SOMETHING.
as a parting gift. it would be kinda like, "ooooooooh! i'm gonna miss you!" but still.......i would like to.

alright--i'll talk to him tomorrow morning (if i see him that is--sometimes he shows up, sometimes he doesn't)

.......well i know.......but if it would be easier on her, i wouldn't mind at least helping her pay--or anyone for that matter.

i got a hold of badger on facebook.........he's thinking about it......hasn't given me an answer yet though--probably looking up everything & whatnot....

ohayocon '08 him & some other people shared a room with my mom & i (she was the chaparone for a huge group of people!). i enjoyed his company--we fought with our giant pocky sticks! XD
but......it ain't gonna happen. turns out that highland's commencement is that sunday as well. so no badger...i figured as much, i just thought i would still ask him.

...sorry...my mom said is was kinda okay, she was willing to do it...but then my dad started complaining, and she sided with him...

now my dad's yelling at everyone........sh*t.......i got him pissed............he's scary & semi-violent (he throws things around sometimes...) when he's pissed........
..........this isn't cool......but i kinda see they're anger in this.....they do always end up driving my sibling's & i's friends everywhere, because most of there parents won't drive their own kid places...they're just kinda sick of it & it's like an explosion waiting to happen.....until i just lit the fuse that is....>.<

My mom dont like that I take part in Cons and Anime.. But She keeps her thought to herself cause it makes me happy. My Mom can't do it also cause she doesn't having a bad time too. She packing up the house and working and try to sell the house and with my dad across the US she try to help him fix the house from here.

i figured that was why--the packing things away & all that.......and i explained to my parents you were moving soon......but i don't know....

okay...i was gonna wait until tomorrow, but i thought i would explain it to her quickly before she went to bed.
apparently....she misunderstood me earlier...she's fine with taking you thursday & having you stay with us that night, and then taking you back sunday, shim.
i wanna say "screw school friday & come with us" but......that's not a very good thing to say....and it's not really the best thing to do.
of course, if you still wanna get out of school friday & can, you're more than welcome to get a ride with me thursday evening (just be forewarned about my mother's snoring--bring your ipod & headphones--you'll need them...).
...hopefully she won't change her mind.......she does that sometimes......
