You can go to Johto and Kanto. There's 8 gyms in each. 8+8=16

There's an event where you can go into the "Yellow Forest" where you can catch pikachu with any HM move. ((Rock Smash, Fly, Surf, Etc.)) You need a wifi connecter to do this

Yellow forest is a Pokewalker route. So you need a Pokewalker to use it.
