The twins rolled their eyes at the 'dramatic' seen. Really, this was just too much. Sure, Tamaki and Haruhi were great actors, they just weren't into this kinda stuff. They sighed, leaning against the wall and glancing at each other.

"Ne, Kaoru." Hikaru whispered. "Are we even in this play anymore?"

Kaoru shrugged.

"Don't know. Probably not. We coould probably just leave right now but . . ."

They frowned, rolling their eyes again.

"Curtain call."

They both sighed, sliding down the wall and sitting, leaning against each other.

"This is boring."

Haruhi's eyes widened. "No! Beast, don't die!" she sobbed. "Please! Beast, I... I love you!" She buried her face in his chest, like she was crying over a dead body. She wasn't really, but it was the easiest way to pretend to cry without shedding real tears.

There was a gasp from the audience, then cheers from all the girls. This was the scene they'd been wanting: the confession. Now Tamaki could shed the beast costume (which, in retrospect, was pretty hot), and become the "handsome prince." They wanted to see how they'd pull it off on stage. Turn off the lights? A smokescreen? Both? They wanted to know!

As soon as Haruhi screamed the words, "I love you." the lights dimmed and whispy smoke started to fill the stage. The make up artists came in and flooded around Tamaki as they quickly removed his beastly makeup, fake hair, claws and teeth. Then two came in around Tamaki and did a quick touch up so he would for sure look princly.

After they left the smoke machines stopped producing the smoke but as the two waited for the smoke to vanish, Tamaki thought to himself, I best do this now. Tamaki openned his eyes and propped himself with his elbow so that he was looking at Haruhi in the face. "Haruhi..." he started off softly so those in the audience would hear him, "I know this is a play...but its helped me realize...I love you too..." Tamaki quickly leaned and gave Haruhi a quick kiss on the cheak, not wanting to over impose if, in fact, she didn't feel the same.

The lights came on just in time for the fangirls to see the kiss. The audience went wild, thinking it was part of the show.

Haruhi blushed, not knowing what to say. She opened and closed her mouth a few times, but nothing came out. At last, she settled for hugging Tamaki. The play was already screwed up. She didn't think anyone would mind her improvising a bit.

"I love you, too" she whispered close to his ear so the audience couldn't hear. Then she said loud enough for everyone to hear, "Thank God you're alive."

Tamaki hugged Haruhi back and he said aloud for the audience, "A long time ago, a witch put a spell on me when i refused her a night in my castle. The curse wouldn't be lifted until I fell in love and be loved back. I thank you greatly for showing such compassion to me." Tamaki rubbed his cheek lightly on hers and whispered into her ear, "Ever since I first saw you as a host, I knew there was something special about you. now I know what that means to me now..."

Tamaki brought his face to meet hers, like the screwed up play basically pointed to, however, he wasn't playing by the script any more. Tamaki's face drew nearer to Haruhi's slowly as if there was an attraction between them.

The female members of the audience leaned in with anticipation as the kiss scene was now evident. However, the male members hid there face in shame, not really wanting to watch to guys kiss each other.

Haruhi closed her eyes and leaned in to kiss Tamaki. Her heart was racing. She forgot completely about the audience as she waited for the kiss. She didn't care that the entire school was watching, or that they thought she was a guy, or that the twins would never drop it if she and Tamaki kissed. She didn't care about anything except Tamaki at the moment.

(Hee hee... I think the twins should come in and break it up just to be their obnoxious selves)

Noticing that Haruhi had leaned in towards him, Tamaki took the lead, closed his eyes, leaned in further and pressed his lips against Haruhi's. The moment was errotic to Tamaki for he held the kiss for longer then a quick peck. He held Haruhi gently by the neck with his other hand as he lightly ran his fingers through the hair at the base of her neck.

The girls in the audienec couldn't take the beauty of the scene. They all started to squeal while some fainted slightly at the scene. The male memebrs waited for the squealing to stop before even daring to peek at the stage, not wanting to catch any glipse of two guys kissing.

Hunny watched, with Mori of course, backstage off to the side while the romance scene took place. Tamaki and Haruhi's acting pleased Hunny, but what amazed him was how well their own dialogue fit with the now completely-screwed-up play so well. Not only that, the fact that they both admitted their feelings towards each other on stage...in front of the entire school. Perhaps they didn't care anymore at this point. Either way, Hunny was happy for them.

Smiling brightly, Hunny looked up at his rathe tall cousin and said, "They look so kawaii, don't they?"

Mori didn't react right away when he was spoken to. He, too, was watching the scene in awe. But soon enough, he grinned slightly with a nod and answered, "Yeah, they do." Mori said it so plainly, but very meaningful and sincere at the same time.

As the kiss scene took place, Mori and Hunny's grins grew, very pleased with how it was all happening so fast. It's about time Tamaki kissed her.

((let me know if that last bit is a little much for mori...))

The twins were staring in shock at the scene in front of them.

Tamaki had confessed.

Haruhi had accepted.

They. Were. Kissing.

Well. Hikaru and Kaoru hadn't been expecting that. They gave twin whistles from back stage, giving their obvious approval. Though the noises were obnoxious, it wasn't like they actually cared.

And besides.

It was about time.

Kyoya wasn't really paying too much attention to what was going on, since he wasn't expected on stage or anything. But he had heard and seen what happened and was almost surprised.

Almost.

He was expecting something to happen between the two of them soon, but not quite in this way. Smirking with satisfaction (and hiding any trace of surprise he had), he crossed his arms and continued watching the scene.

Haruhi broke the kiss at last. She needed to breathe, after all. Then she stood up and offered the "Beast" a hand to stand up. She was at a loss of what else to do. The kiss made her completely forget the rest of her lines.

Renge would have to save the day and declare the play over. Hopefully, someone would tell her to finish the play and say they all lived happily ever after.

Renge was out cold. Having fainted after seeing the kiss. The crew work to bring her back, fanning and slapping her cheeks. They were about to pour iced water on her before someone called out from the dark . .

One of the stage member stooded. " And they lived happly ever after! The End?!" He raise a eyebrow in question at his freinds. They nodded in agreement and rushed to close the curtains.

Haruhi rushed offstage a moment. "Renge, are you all right?" she asked. "Aw, never mind. We all need to get onstage for bows! Hikaru, Kaoru, Kyoya, Hunny, Mori!" she called just loud enough for them to hear. "Bows! Come on!"

She went back onstage and took Tamaki's hand. They were to be in the center of the stage, being the stars, with the others on either side of them.

Hikaru and Kaoru walked on stage, linking arms and leaning against one another, waiting for the curtains to open once more. Once this was done, they could finally do something interesting. . . . Though, now they had all sorts of oppertunitites to tease Haruhi and Tamaki about their new relationship.

They glanced at each other and smirked.

Perhaps this play wasn't so bad after all.

Kyoya followed the twins onto the stage for bows. This play would be perfect for business, especially the end part of it. They were sure to get more customers now, and more profits.

He waited for the curtains to raise for the bows.

Hunny quickly ran out on the stage with Mori following him. Hunny took Haruhi's empty hand and smiled up at her brightly. He was sad that the play was already over, but Haruhi and Tamaki's newly admitted feelings made it all okay, in his opinion.

Mori quickly followed Hunny on stage and grabbed a hold of his empty hand, just as he did for Haruhi. He grinned down at his happy cousin, then stared blankly out in front of him, waiting for the curtain to rise.

Tamaki waited as Haruhi brought everyone onstage and took Haruhi's free and took Kyoya in his other hand while the twins were on the other side of Kyoya. Tamaki felt really good about the play. Sure they messed up a lot but then again, the customers looked right over their mistakes and loved it from what he could tell. Also he was finally with the girl that he actually loved. He squeezed her hand a little harder as he looked lovingly at Haruhi as they waited for the curtain to open.

Just as she looked back at him, the curtain opened and light flooded the stage and illuminated the seven of them. They all took a deep bow as the audience rose to their feet and applauded them for such an entertaining show. And the hosts, especially Tamaki and Haruhi, lived on their years at Oruan high school happily ever after.
