((sorry i read a different version of the story where he asked at night so i was confuzzeled. also wasn't sure if i should have came out now or not.))

Tamaki prepared himself back stage for his next entrance, even preparing a rose that he was going to give Beauty. He strolled on stage slowly, went down onto one knee, gave beauty the rose and started to say like he was nervous, "Ummm...good morning...I..." he paused for a minute, acting like he was gathering the strength up to say his next line. Unintentionally he was drawing the audience in with the suspense. "I-I...I love...you...Ha-" Tamaki stopped dead in his tracks right then and there. Oh crap! I almost said Haruhi! he thought nervously to himself. He turned chili pepper red at that exact moment, this actually felt like he was confessing to Haruhi. however, he quickly turned the line around and said, "ho, sweet Beauty... will...you...marry me?"

The audience squeeled in delight. They hadn't heard Tamaki's slip of the tongue. But Haruhi had.

She blushed. "I-I can't marry you!" she said quickly. "I hardly know you. Maybe someday I might learn to love you, but I cannot give my heart to someone I haven't known even a day."

Tamaki hung his head in shame, like he was supposed to but also out of embarassment for almost indirectly confessing to Haruhi. "thats what I thought." he said disappointedly. He stood up and turned away from Haruhi and siad, "My apologies for over imposing on you. Breakfast is served down in the dinning hall for you. I've already eaten. if you need assistance, just call for Lumire, cogsworth or any of the other servants you see around the castle."

With that, Tamaki left the stage and then sat on the steps that lead up to the balconey. he held his head and thought Oh my Lord! I almost told Haruhi that i loved her... Tamaki dropped his hands and thought do i?

Haruhi nodded and walked offstage. The crew dragged off the scenery for her room and pushed in a table on wheels. She came back on and sat down at one of the chairs rolled out.

Shoot! Haruhi thought, panic rising. There are supposed to be a bunch of servents, but all the extras are gone! She hoped Kyoya, Hunny, and Mori would be willing to fill in for those missing.

(Hee hee... One of them should cross-dress as a maid!)

The twins scurried on stage, both of them holding large platters of (fake) food. They bowed deeply before Haruhi, before setting the trays down in front of them. "What would you like to eat, milady?" Hikaru asked, taking the top of off the tray. "Perhaps some of this?"

Kaoru followed suit, grinning. "Yes please, be our guest. It is our job to serve you, whatever you desire." They waited for Haruhi to say something, going back to standing directly next to each other.

k. Know we just need hunny and mori. and what was so horrible about the parody?

"Thank you very much," Haruhi said, acting surprised. She'd thought she was a prisoner, but here the servants were treating her like a queen. Where were Mori and Hunny, though?

"No need to thank us, milady!" Hikaru spoke, bowing again. "It's our pleasure!" They said in unison. They looked out into the wings. Weren't Hunni and Mori supposed to come in now? "The rest of the servants will be with us shortly." Kaoru said, hoping that the two would get the hint. "Until then, please feel free to ask for whatever you're in the mood for."

The twins paused there, waiting for either the two cousins to enter, or for Haruhi to say something else. They knew that one of the two had to be right. But until they came...

"So, has the lord asked you to marry him?" Kaoru began, looking at his nails nonchalantly. Hikaru sighed, looking off to the side. "Every young lady that comes into this castle..." The two nodded in unison.

"He'll take any woman he can get, really."

The twins scooted the trays a little closer to Haruhi. "Well, does this appeal to your taste's?" They asked, changing the subject abruptly. They did have to stall until Hunni and Mori came on.

was that okay? Or was it too mean... I feel kinda bad now...

Haruhi resisted slapping her face. "It all looks delicious," she said, choosing to avoid the comment against Tamaki completely. The twins were going to seriously destroy this show. "Thank you very much."

Hunny quickly made his way onto stage, with Mori close behind him.

Mori was wearing an old fashioned servent's uniform, with a tray of mugs in hand. He walked up to Haruhi, and held out the tray in front of her.

Hunny on the other hand was wearing an old fashioned...maid's uniform, holding a pot of tea in both hands. He was the first to speak. "Good morning, Mademoiselle. Would you care for a cup of tea?"

"AAAAWWWWWWWWWWW..." The girls watching the performance said in unison once they saw Hunny. A number of the commented to the others on how cute he looked. they few guys that were watching the show with their girlfriends either hung their heads in shame or tried to hold in their giggles.

It took all of Haruhi's willpower to not fall out of her chair laughing when she saw Hunny. He looked adorable in the maid uniform, yes, but it was just too much. "Thank you very much," she said, accepting the empty mug from Mori and pretended to let Hunny poor the imaginary tea. It felt like she was having an imaginary tea party like when she was little. "May I explore the castle today?" she asked before acting like she was drinking some tea.

More squeals from the audience. Geez everytime someone says that word...

They bowed a little and waited for Haruhi to respond. In order to progress the script, Haruhi would have to fall in love with Tamaki and to end the play they'd have to get married. They just wanted this to be over.

The twins were getting bored.

Haruhi had to follow the script. "I would love it if you both show me around," she said, allowing them to lead her off-stage. Now was the time for Tamaki to go out and set up with the other two servants some way to get Haruhi to fall for him.

Tamaki wanted to strnagle the twins for making such a comment on stage about him being a womanizer. "Bakas!" he said quietly to himself, "You're supposed to make Haruhi fall for me not push her away!"

Tamaki stoled to the other side of the stage and waited for the twins and Haruhi to leave the stage. Once they did, Tamaki walked cautiously on the stage, as if he was trying to avoid detection from Beauty and he went up to Mori and Hunny and said, "Ms Pots, Charles, I need some advice." he sat down at the fake dinner table and held his head in frustration. "My mind is in a haze right now." he said to them, "I've fallen for this Beauty that I have wrongfully captured. I need help to win over Har-" Tamaki stopped again when he almost slipped out Haruhi again but again quickly turned it around and said, "hardly, even remotely, ugly Beauty. Can you give some direction as to calm my mind?"

Hunny & Mori looked at each other, and then Tamaki. What were they supposed to say again? Neither of them had a single clue.

Hunny jumped up and then ran over next to Tamaki. In his sweetest, yet calming voice, he said, "Oh, Master! It shouldn't be hard to win Miss Beauty's heart. Just be kind to her, and please her when you can."

Hunny knew he screwed up those lines, he just knew it.

Mori walked over next to them and hovered over Hunny. Basically, Hunny had taken care of the scene, but it would be weird if he didn't actually say anything...

He grinned slightly and said, "Yeah. Just listen to what Ms. Pots has said, and you'll win Beauty's heart for sure."

Mori, too, knew that he screwed up his lines.

"But how?" Tamaki said as if he was just talking to Mori and Hunny about a problem of his during club activities, "I can never get close to her. She ignores me, she seems embarassed just to be around me, and hardly ever agrees with me." There was a long pause before Tamaki spoke again. He was sitting there dumb struck as he just realized what came out of his mouth. He just explained to not only Mori and Hunny why Tamaki was having difficulty getting close to Haruhi and not Beauty, but also to most of the female population of Ouran High School. Tamaki cleared his throat, looked away to avert the gazes from Hunny, Mori and the audience, started waving his hand in circles and said, "That is...if i were to just start casually talking Beauty as you suggested..." Tamaki fell back into character and slouched his shoulders and looked down at his feet and added, "I mean...who would want to ever afliate with a hidous beast like me? you do because i pay you to be here...but...she's different..."

Haruhi was blushing furiously offstage. She'd caught that the whole monologue Tamaki had spouted wasn't the real lines but actually what he was thinking about her. Thankfully, the audience hadn't caught on.

Hunny and Mori stared at Tamaki blankly. They could not believe what he just said...out loud...in front of the entire school. They would have to do something, hoping that no one else really noticed...

Quickly, Hunny said, "Well, you won't know if any of that's true if you don't talk to her, now do you? You need to...flatter her, and show her that there's more to you than your looks. Beauty seems like the type of woman that would take someone for who they are; not their looks."

Mori nodded in agreement with Hunny. But unfortunately, he forgot what to do or say. So Mori just went with it. "Now then, would you like me to go bring Mlle. Beauty in hear, my lord?"

"T-that won't be necissary Charles." Tamaki said out of embarassment; not only was he supposed to say that but he really wanted to get off stage so he could collect his thoughts. He stood up and bowed his head a little and said, "I thank you for the advice though. I feel...slightly more at ease. If you'll ecuse me I'll be on my way to the study." with that Tamaki quickly strolled off stage.

Holy gees! he thought to himself as he held his head in real fustration. Why is it that i keep mistaking Haruhi for the person she's acting as? Tamaki restrained himself from hitting himself as he mummbled to himself, "Get..it...right..Tamaki!"

Haruhi watched Tamaki rush offstage and signaled to the twins. Once Hunny and Mori went off, they'd be on with Beauty's tour. Basically, it was them walking around the stage and the twins picking up this and that for props, like a book for the library, a cage with a stuffed bird for the "bird room," a dress for the closet, and other strange things that one wouldn't expect to find in a terrible beast's castle.

They nodded at Haruhi's single, each of them taking a position on either side of beauty, Kaoru standing slightly behind her so that the audience could see all three of them clearly. They stopped at the first 'room', walking over to the 'bookshelf' that the tech people had made. "This is the library." Hikaru explained, pulling off the only real book on the shelf. "It is one of milords favorite places in the castle." After showing her around a bit more, they went on to the next room.

"This is the bird room. (he has a bird room? That's kind of... uneccessary) Kaoru went over, opening a small cage and pulling out a bird, cradling it so people wouldn't be able to tell it was fake. Hikaru gestured to the animal.

"That one's name is Rini."

Once Beauty had looked around a bit they moved on to what was supposed to be the ballroom. "This milady, is the ballroom." Kaoru gestured offstage a bit. "The piano is over there. Milord plays wonderfully. You should ask him to show you, when he gets the time." They went to many different rooms (well... as many as they had been able to fit on the stage) and once they were done they led her back to her 'room' standing outside the 'door'.

"Did you enjoy the tour, Miss Beauty?" They asked simultaneously, smilling brightly. "We should hope you did."

They bowed.

"If you'll excuse us, we need to be going. Feel free to do a little exploring on your own, if you'd like."

With that the twins took this as their oppertunity to exit, but walked slow in case Haruhi had another line to say.

I hope that was okay. I didn't want to make it too long winded, and you know what would be great? Since Tamaki can play the piano anyways, he should play for beauty later... or be playing and she just happens to walk in. It'd be cute! ^_^

"Thank you very much!" she called before wandering off stage. It was now Renge's turn to say that time had passed and that Beauty was falling more and more for the Beast, but she was also missing her family.

Renge Was so absored into the story she missed her cue. Once again she stepped out into the light, " As time when on, Beauty was falling more and more in love with the Beast. But her heart ached at the thought of her family, oh how she missed her family. Beauty tried hard to keep her mind off her family. She decide to explore the castle once more." She stepped out of the light.

Haruhi walked out on stage once again. She dragged her feet and put on a sad, almost lonely expression. She wandered around as if in a daze, and then sat down in a chair. Tamaki was supposed to come and ask her if she would marry him (again), and she was supposed to start crying. Then he was supposed to ask her what was wrong and she was supposed to tell him. Simple back and forth between the two.

((enough with the stage directions. i'm gonna take one of Hanyou's ideas and run with it.))

Tamaki was still trying to get his head on strait after he kept messing up by replacing Beauty with Haruhi. Tamaki saw the Grand piano on wheels and he decided to himself maybe if i play I might refocus. Tamaki sat down and was about to play when he remebered, Crap the aduience will hear me if i play. Tamaki thought about it and then remembered how there was a piano in "study." It might not be in the script but it would sure make things interesting. Tamaki held down one of the mute pedals so it sounded like he was playing off in the distance and started to play a melancholy piece to try and get himself to focus.
