Cleanse The World

Roxas fell backwards under Yuki's attack, like a doll knocked over. He tried to get back up, but he was still too paralyzed to do much other than swing his Keyblade rigidly.

"Did it work?" Ash asked, taking a cautious step toward Roxas. He and Pikachu still kept their guard up, just in case.

Roxas blinked, and the Keyblades disappeared. "What's... going on? Where am I?" He looked around cluelessly. "What happened to that..." He winced. He couldn't remember what he was wondering about. What had he just been thinking? "Nevermind. What's going on?"

"Y-yeah," Roxas said, both surprised and shaken. He stood and drew his Keyblades again. "Who are you?" he shouted at the demon. "Why are you doing all this?"

Pikachu leapt forward, cheeks sparking. Ash wasn't far behind. "Were you the one controlling Roxas?'

Roxas rushed over to Ash's side. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah," Ash choked out between coughs. He'd really thought he would suffocate there. Maybe he wasn't suited for this whole demon-hunting thing. Still, he had to help them somehow, so he reached for a Pokeball.

A dancing blue aligator popped out of the Pokeball. "Totodile! Use water gun!" The little Pokemon shot water out of his mouth, splashing the demon in the face with enough force to knock a normal human back.

Roxas readied his Keyblades. "I don't lose that easily," he stated firmly. He'd been a member of the Organization. He'd fought and almost beaten Riku, the strongest person he knew. There was no way he would lose this fight.

He held both Keys in front of him and pushed off with his back foot. He charged, ready to block with the Oathkeeper and to attack with the Oblivion. He couldn't lose. He wouldn't lose. Not to him; not to anyone!

Roxas let out a small growl of frustration. He could barely keep this monster at bay, even with his full strength between both Keyblades. "Why are you doing this?" he asked between clenched teeth.

Before he could get an answer, another spray of water smacked Gregory in the face, distracting him briefly enough for Roxas to land a hit. The Keyblade sliced through the demon's clothes, but hardly left a bruise on his body. He cursed and slashed with the Oathkeeper in a follow-up move.

Ash snapped his fingers in disappointment. He thought for sure his distraction would let Roxas hurt the guy. "You can do it, Roxas!"

Ash called back Totodile and called out Bayleaf. "Bayleaf! Help Haruka out! Use vine whip to hold that demon in place!"

"No you don't!" Ash shouted. "Bayleaf! Now!"

The grass Pokemon threw its vines at the demon and wrapped around his arm before he could hit Haruka. "Great!"

Ash was completely used to body slams, and so he knew by now how to position himself so as not to be destroyed by one such attack. Still, the force was enough to knock the wind out of Ash and to knock out the poor grass Pokemon. "R-return," he gasped, and the Bayleaf gratefully did. Then, Ash passed out too.
