short bio: Koji was only 13 when the first kira appeared. he say kira as a savior. however it came as a great shock when it was reported kira had died. he always found it funny that kira had died of a heart attack. over the next five years he spent much time trying to find out every detail of the whole incident.
Koji had always been very bright. any situation he was put in he figured a way out. however, as a student, he wasnt the greatest. he just didnt apply himself if he wasnt interested.
One day, a notebook appeared in his room. a black one that said death note on it. he opened the cover and seen what it said, 'a human whose name is writen in this note shall die. the note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name.' From these words he knew that this is what kira used. and he knew what he had to do now.

OH, *sudden realization*

i thought that Mr. Yagami meant light, i forgot about Soichiro...okay, so then i'm only gonna be Matsuda...but could I also be that shinigami called deridovely if another id needed?

i like the name =)

"Hey Ryuk, where are you going THIS time?"

"Yeah, on another "vacation"? Didn't you kill that kid? Light? Why bother, just come and gamble with us."


"I can't...I just get too...bored. Besides...

I dropped my notebook again."

Ryuk stepped back to look at the human realm, and dove in. He flew down to his book, and stepped down into the boy's room.

"Hello..." Ryuk said, flashing his creepiest smile, "My name's Ryuk. and That's MY notebook."

((i had to look up my own name, ha))

Koji fell out of his chair when he heard someone speak. "whos there?" he called out. he turned his head to see a larger creature, unlike anything he has ever seen before. "what are you?"

Heh, heh, heh...

"I am a shinigami, and (like I said) That's MY Death Note. It's not that I would like it back, in fact that's why I dropped it in the first place. I just wanted to create a little action...Got any apples?"

Ryuk went through most of the rules, so that Koji would get the basics.

"You've used it quite a bit now, haven't you? So...you know what it does...what do you plan to do now? Gonna clean up the world?"

God, THAT was quite a plan, huh? Ryuk chuckled at himself.

"Also...A user of the Death Note can neither go to Heaven nor Hell..."

Ryuk chuckled at his favorite line.


"But seriously...Those apples?"

koji got up and sat back in his chair. "sorry, you cought me by supprise. wasnt expecting something like you." he picked up an apple, that he had sitting on his desk, and gave it to Ryuk. "you must have helped Light then? the one who had this notebook before me. i read much from, police files, about him. however you werent in any of them, though it is odvious why. i have already taken lessons form Light's failure. and if you havent figured it out for yourself, i have the same plan."

"well, for starters, i havent given away where i am yet. i found a video of L's first apperance, when he sacraficed a convect to figure out Light was in japan. I made my first kill in america, and began killing on the hour around the world. then to cover my trail, i use a proxy when looking for targets, so my computer cant be traced. and on top of that, i already know the name of my enemy, Near. but i couldnt find a picture." he said with enthusiam. "sorry if this is boring work, but this world need a hero."

he laughed, "you didnt think i was serous, did you?" i hate boring thing. i have been dooing some testing, which should have results with in the hour." the opened to a page in the back of the notebook. the page was filled front and back, with names and the word 'suicide' followed by 12 noon and 'at washington DC'. "i dont think this will go unseen."

"this is my first public act as kira. Light set the stage, now it my time." he laughed. "everyone knows what kira was, and this will tell them that kira is back."
"what deal?" he said intrested.

he thought about it for a moment. "i could understand why light never took it. cutting the reign of kira in half? i dont like the sound of it. it may be useful at one point, but it is too simple then." he turned on the tv, as noon approached. "so, could you tell me how much longer i have to live?"

"nope." koji smugly said. "i just have plans. soon the world shall know kira is back. every where criminals will die. and i can tell you, this will be intresting. i am already looking for the next list of criminals in london, britan. they will all die, falling so their bodies lay in the shape of a K. next is I in Paris france, R in moskow, russa and finally A in Beijing, china. and as usual, a criminal will die every hour on the hour, starting from england. I start in england because its timezone is plus zero. keeping on their time zone should make a pattern. and because the first kill was in the united states, the famous Near will look there for me." he laughed a little

oh my God...thta's briliant! I would have NEVER thought of that!

(i think how i normally would. i really dont like drawing attention to myself in real life, so it is easy to figure it out on rp.)

Crap...who's gonna be Near? I guess I could, but it'd be kinda complicated...

(i dont know. i guess so. if you think you can)
